User Data Deletion Policy
In strict compliance with Meta Developer Platform Policies (Section 4.b) and global privacy regulations (including GDPR, CCPA, and Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act), LoopDM provides users and creator audiences with simple, transparent methods to request and execute the permanent deletion of their personal data.
Depending on how you interacted with LoopDM, please follow the relevant instructions below.
Complete Account & Data Deletion (Inside LoopDM)
If you are a LoopDM creator and wish to permanently erase your entire workspace, connected channels, and all activity records, you can do so autonomously inside your account:
- Log in to your LoopDM dashboard at loopdm.geekyvikas.com/login.
- Click Settings in the navigation sidebar, then open the Security & Profile tab.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the page.
- Click the red Delete Account & Data button.
- Enter your LoopDM password to confirm ownership and authorization.
- Personal Profile & Credentials: User record, password hash, email OTPs, and login sessions.
- Connected Meta Channels: All Instagram accounts, Facebook Pages, encrypted access tokens, and pairing configurations.
- Automations & Triggers: All active/draft triggers, keyword rules, message templates, buttons, and public reply variants.
- Interaction History & Logs: All DM delivery logs, commenter IDs, usernames, timestamps, and error logs.
- Caches & Counters: All Redis rate limit keys, warmup metrics, and backfill job history.
* Pursuant to GDPR Article 17(3)(b)/(e) and international commercial regulations, minimal de-identified records of prior affirmative terms consent and regulatory compliance timestamps may be preserved strictly for legal dispute defense and statutory limitation periods.
Revoke Access via Facebook or Instagram (Meta Native)
You can revoke LoopDM's permissions and trigger our automatic data deletion callback directly through your Meta account settings:
Via Facebook App / Web
- Log in to your Facebook profile and open Settings & privacy > Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations).
- Locate LoopDM in the list of active apps.
- Click Remove.
- Confirm the removal. Facebook will automatically dispatch a secure Data Deletion Callback request to our server.
Via Instagram Mobile App
- Open the Instagram app and navigate to your Profile.
- Tap the menu icon (☰) and select Settings and privacy.
- Tap Website permissions (or Apps and websites).
- Under the Active tab, find LoopDM.
- Tap Remove to instantly revoke access and disconnect your account.
Disconnect Specific Channels via LoopDM Dashboard
If you want to keep your LoopDM profile but remove an individual Instagram account or Facebook Page:
- Log in to your LoopDM dashboard at loopdm.geekyvikas.com/login.
- Navigate to Settings > Channels.
- Click the Disconnect button next to the relevant Instagram Account or Facebook Page.
- Confirm disconnection. All stored access tokens, page keys, and automations tied exclusively to that channel are immediately deleted.
Follower & Commenter Data Deletion Request
If you are an Instagram or Facebook user who commented on a creator's post and received an automated direct message, we only temporarily process your public comment text and user ID to dispatch the requested information. We do not store personal credit, banking, or sensitive profile information.
To request the immediate purge of any interaction logs, contact entries, or delivery records containing your username or ID:
Automated Data Deletion Callback Endpoint
For Meta Platform automated verification, LoopDM implements the official Meta Signed Request Data Deletion Callback protocol:
When triggered via Meta, our endpoint parses the request, confirms data unlinking, and generates a unique deletion tracking confirmation code.
